Infotainment issue after iOS 16 Update?

Has anyone else experienced an issue with their Apple CarPlay after upgrading to iOS 16?  If I have SiriusXM on and my phone connects, all audio from SiriusXM stops and cannot be recovered unless I turn off my Bluetooth, shutdown the truck and then turn it back on.

 

Curious if any others have similar issues after the latest Apple update?

What year truck?

Just got a new phone and it has OS16.  I don’t think I’ve got a call yet.  I’ll try it tomorrow and report back.  In the meantime, I would definitely do a reset on my phone.  That works out a lot of the bugs in my experience.

I just took it out today and the issue hasn't reoccurred.

 

I forgot to mention. I was able to use bluetooth audio (Spotify) however when I received an alert from Waze, a railroad crossing for example, the audio would stop I am would manually have to hit the Play to resume.

I had a few issues with CarPlay after updating my ios, but I reset my phone and all is good now.

I haven't had the issues reoccur yet since my initial post.  Hopefully it will stick that way!

The same thing happened on my 2020 LTZ. When I plugged in my Samsung phone to use Google maps the XM stopped playing.  When I unplugged the phone XM started playing again.

Interesting, I don't have an Android to be able to test with but so far the issue has NOT reoccurred to me after the initial incident.  Im hoping it was a one-off and rebooting my phone and letting the truck sit resolved it permanently.

My truck doesn't like to connect to my phone via bluetooth after IOS16. FYI 2020 Sierra with wired car play (which is now buggy, too).

The only thing I'm noticing since the update is that my truck is not recognizing new music added to iTunes.

No issues with my CarPlay on my 2020 TB and Apple Maps with my iPhone 12 w/IOS16.

Hello all,

 

I have a 21 at4 and since the iOS 16 update I have not been able to control skip replay and pause from the steering wheel as I was before. 
 

Anyone else having this problem?
