2018 Sierra 6.2, 8 speed - 420 hp, 445 torque at rear wheels

Installed Brian Tooley Racing Gen V 220 Camshaft and VVT limiter, BTR LT1 dual valve springs, BTR chrome moly pushrods, LS7 lifters and new upgraded GM oil pump. She also has Kooks 1-3/4" headers with high flow cats, dual exhaust, AirAid MIT with dry filter and Soler Performance throttle body. Running 91 octane. Shifts at 6100 RPM.

It sounds so good at idle! Very chunky. Engine and Trans tuned by reputable shop in town. I should have tuned the trans sooner, what a difference! Truck is crazy fun to drive, chirps the tires shifting into 4th. Might get rubber into 5th but its already going 110 km/hr and don't want a speeding ticket, lol.

Dyno sheet is a 4th gear pull. They said in 6th gear (1:1) it would have 5-7% more power.

Did you upgrade the torque converter? Im about to order a dod delete kit from btr, not sure which cam yet.

Running the stock converter. It is too tight. Almost have enough saved for a higher stall. When engine and trans are cold it chugs hard and tries to push through the brakes. When at operating temp it’s better. I daily drive it though and have 10k miles on the setup. I would recommend this cam
