Gordie Kooner Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 (edited) i have a 2018 sierra denali, recently ive been getting a knocking noise from front driver side when breaking. took it to a shop, for inspection found out that rear breaks needed replacing. did the rotors and pads. still same noise and took it back and inspected the fronts again, was told that the struts were leaking, replaced which cost a fortune. still the same problem, reinspected the front breaks again, said the rotors were warped due to the struts, replaced rotors still hearing the noise. does anyone have this same problem, whats the fix??? Snowcamo Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 May be the hubs/ bearings. Does it knock when you hit bumps? Also is it a knock or a clanking sound?
NWI Denali Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Sway bar end links, balljoint, or wheel bearings? Your mechanic doesn't sound very competent, just throwing parts at it. 1
