So all, I'm back again after a few years. Looks like GMC has gotten the interior that both my wife and I like.. Yay!

A couple of questions. One, no wireless charging? If true, is it a chip retrofit down the road?

Two, Super Cruise, does it come with a trial subscription?

Ok, one more. Is the factory option hard folding tonneau REV (basically BakFlip)?

Thanks all.

Some trucks are being built without wireless charging, likely due to just another chip shortage or supply chain issue that have become the norm over the last couple years. If your window sticker doesn’t say “includes later retrofit” (which I don’t believe wireless charging does) then you’re not gonna get it from Chevrolet on that truck.

You’d have to look at the window sticker for a particular truck to know whether on not it has it.

I'm guessing the new ones have the charger deleted. Not a deal breaker for sure.

The folding hard tonneau for the Silverado is a REV. I'm assuming the GMC'S get the same. I had an BakFlip MX4 on my 2016 F150 and 2019 Ram. I liked them alot.

As far as Super Cruise, any free trial?

I just ordered 11-11-22 a fully loaded 2023 Denali at Ultimate specs. I dislike the interior of the Ultimate, but the dealer could order 1 Denali in November and they ordered for me. It arrived at the dealership 12-26-22.. I picked it up 12-27-22

I have the Wireless and it does not work well like many others have posted recently. Some are saying it is the rubber mat which I tried to charged without the rubber mat and sure enough it worked great.

Then the SuperCruise ( SC ). GM was doing $999 3 years subscription with OnStar and having the SC work. Well, that did not go over well and now the 3 years is bundled in the MSRP and you get the 3 years subscription and use it for the 3 years. It works ok.. but if you live on a major road like me that is not mapped in Google for SC, then SC does not work. Then if a new lane is added to a tollway in the last 1-2 years, that lane is not mapped in Google and SC does not work.

My KIA EV6 has HDA2 and it drives itself based on the stripes in the road and works excellent. I wish that SC was based on stripes and GPS provided by Google Maps.

I got the Carbon Pro bed. Just ordered my REV flip hard top and rubber mat for the bed. Together that was $1400 free ship to my dealer. I will install it all myself and save the $300 the dealer wanted for install.

Thank you. I really don't need Super Cruise personally. I have BlueCruise on my F150 which has a year trial. It works but I really don't trust it so I don't take my hands off the wheel anyway. I'm thinking it'll be a must have for resale down the road.

IF your truck comes without wireless charger, there is no retrofit per se. What I mean by that is that the dealer will not install a new module for free. You can however purchase a retrofit kit from 404parts.com, mine came in the mail today and plan on installing it tomorrow.

The SuperCruise seems to work good when it is activated. I was cruise control set at 80MPH and came upon a fairly sharp curve in the road and it took the curve without veering off the road into the shoulder area. If it had been my KIA EV6, it would have ran off the road as the HDA2 is good, but when a sharp corner is coming up, it will allow you to run off and no warning.

No retrofit on the wireless charger (from GM).

Super Cruise I think is part of the 1 month OnStar trial?

REV = Bakflip.  REV is Bak Industries "private label" for supplying to OEMs for their accessories catalogs.
