Any true pros and cons. Planning to switch over to a 2019 or newer with this engine for some light duty

Fuel economy sucks for a 4-banger.  It's on par with the V8s.  Might as well get a V8 based on that alone.

depends on your driving, my 2014 5.3 with 3.08 gears sucked in town but was good on the hwy. 2020 with 2.7 is a lot better in town and not bad on the hwy. pulling my boat the 2.7 does better than my 5.3
