Front wheel hubs

I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, I think I bought ABS hubs for a four-wheel drive mine is two wheel drive I've included pictures of the one I bought and the original I took out and I'm wondering if I can replace it with the ones that have a hole in the middle for a spline to go through

Wrong forum, and your pictures didn't load. But NO you cannot use 4wd hubs on a 2wd. The 4wd hubs use the axle shaft and nut to hold them together. The 2wd hubs have a piece going through them to hold them together. The 4wd hubs WILL separate and FAIL if you try to use them on your 2wd.

There isn't a "2500HD" in the 2000 model year.  There was just a 2500 in the new body style, and there was 2500 in the Classic (88-98) body style.

 

Which truck do you have exactly?  If its the 1999-2000 year range new body 2500, you CAN NOT use a 4x4 wheel bearing.  GM revised the hubs on these trucks many years ago, and for the 1999-2000 2500 4wd and 2001-2007 year range on 2500, 2500HD and 3500, the current OEM service hub is the same on 2wd and 4wd.

 

The 1999-2000 2500 non HD you MUST use a 2WD specific hub as the flange to bearing offset is different.  The OE hub is discontinued.  Timken # is  HA590352 and is still available.  Read below from the bulletin:

 

#08-03-08-003A: Wheel Hub Changes - Gen III vs. Gen II - (Mar 2, 2009)

The only hub that is not back serviceable is P/N 15719007 (not pictured) for 1999-2000 C25 applications due to a different hub flange to bearing flange offset.

Important: Only the new part numbers referenced in this bulletin are interchangeable between the 4x2 and 4x4 applications with the exception of P/N 15719007 (Not Shown). Under no circumstances should any other 4x4 hub be used in a 4x2 application.

It is a year model 2000, GMC 2500 Sierra , I exchanged the front hub bearings for two wheel drive and installed them, my abs brake light still on

You need to scan for codes to see what is turning on the light.  Could be an EBCM fault.

Still the wrong forum. This forum is for 2019 thru 2023 Silverado and Sierra.

I went to O'Reilly's and AutoZone to scan for codes and there's no codes that come up, I also replaced the brake master cylinder, flushed out the brake lines, had front end alignment done

If their scanners will only read P codes, then you won't see any codes you need to see still.
