12 volt access from 7pin trailer plug

I want to install a 12v outlet in the truck bed. I don't feel like running a home run all the way from the battery. Does anyone know of a good way to tap into the 12v harness for the 7 pin trailer socket? It looks like good sized 10guage.

Also, does anyone know how to remove the socket so I can take a closer look?

It's a standard 7 way RV plug. Look up the wiring pinouts for them and find the 12+. Either use the ground in that wiring harness or ground to metal somewhere else near where you're putting your outlet. I purchased a Curt RV harness for a 5th wheel. I have a custom trim truck so I just have a plastic panel where the 110V outlet would be. The opening was just a bit larger than the plug on the RV harness. I zip tied it in that location. I bought a 7 way plug with 2 12V plugs on it to use to plug things in.

Thank you. I have the "outlet" already figured out. I'm still looking for suggestions on the 12v feed. I have a 7pin to 12v socket adapter (picture), which I use when stationary (very handy). But I'm looking for a permanent hookup to use when mobile.

I guess my question is more about wire splicing. Adding keywords; wire pigtail, wire butt connectors.

I hope to leave the factory wire harness completely intact if possible. Looking for suggestions.
