Aiden Hosa Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 Hey I have a 2018 Silverado and I was wondering if I should go with 20% carbon or ceramic I've been researching and everyone says they use 20% on there Silverado's to match the factory tints I'm also going to do 20% or whatever matches on the windshield I want it to look the same from the inside and outside of the truck
rojas84 Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 Do ceramic it will block more heat entering the truck !! As for the windsheild 20 percent will be dark for night driving.. i have 50 on mine and I see fine at night

Also any issues with using the defrost vents?
vhreso Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 I have 20% on the front 2 windows and 35% over the factory black rear windows. I also have 50% on the windshield. It matches great!
TNTSierra Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 I went 20% ceramic film on all my windows. I'm darker on the back then fronts. If you truly want to match you need to put around a 35% on the backs because the "dyed" glass in these newer trucks aren't very dark and don't really reject any heat or keep out harmful UV light like a great quality ceramic film does. I also put a 5% strip on the top of windshield.
