2024 6.2 with active exhaust is surprising!

Agreed!  I cannot imagine a reason/need to replace the new active exhaust - it really does deliver vastly different sounds with the twist of the knob.  I do think when the engine is cold and it's set to Sport mode the startup is a little obnoxious.......but thats only my perspective.

had a borla touring on 2019 sierra with 6.2. startup is nearly the same as active exhaust on new 24 6.2.  road driving/inside noise is less with the active exhaust vs the borla touring.

Hello Everyone, Warm Greetings from the Sandpit,

just bought my 2024 Yukon Denali and to be honest I am really upset that it didn't come with the active exhaust, apparently the GM Motors Middle East doesnt want to do that so it doesnt effect the choice for buyers to go to Cadillac. So weird stuff we have here. But anyways would anyone please know if the active exhaust could have a part number and how can it be installed. I have asked the dealer but it's been 1 month with no reply. Weird service but still ok.

I really felt bad when the guy next to me receiving his truck had a better sound than the Yukon. Thanks

Holy sh*t this active exhaust sounds great on my 25 Trail Boss! I am going to just leave it in Sport Mode. No cutting out the muffler or flapper valve. No need to install a better muffler. I am really impressed how much power the 6.2 has compared to the 5.3s I have owned in the past. Night and day difference.
