2024 Sierra HD Wire Diagram

Hey guys, 

 

I am looking to tap my tailgate light bar into my tail light and wondering if anyone has the color coding for each wire (left turn, right turn, brake, ground). Also, do both sides of left and right turn or do I need to run one long across to the other side?

If you need to print the 2 pages I think they are 34 and 35. I printed them for my reference stuff I keep in the shop. I wired a marker strip with clear LED's for backup off of my left tail lamp assy but I dont recall the color coding. 

I can read basic stuff on these prints, I would study more if I wasnt at the age I am and didnt have kids that are way beyond my skill level at this. They took what I knew and went screaming past me years ago. I did a lot of wiring on trucks and have practical 12V skills but schematics are a whole othe rabbit hole. LOL

Hey guys. I wired up a LED tailgate light bar and connected it through the wiring harness using the color coded diagram. I’m now having the issue that the system thinks a trailer is hooked up and is giving me trailering camera views when turning and indicating at times to check trailer tail lights. Any thoughts on what I could have Mixed up?

Trailer lighting control module is seeing a trailer from the added resistance of the light bar.  Can't tie them into the trailer lighting.  This is why the Putco one that GM sells with a GM part # has a plug and play harness that ties the bar into the tail lights and not the trailer circuit.  

 

What brand bar is it and what model?

I believe the ground wire is black and the lighter green wire is your reverse lights.

Light Green was the reverse lights. Tapped in for additional reverse lighting, worked for me
