No high idle on cold starts

It’s 20°f sitting all night, at start up it Idles at 900 rpm then settles a bit, but it should be idling at 1200 rpm’s then settling. Can’t find any information on this.

My truck does this when its cold too. Other people have reported this as well. It's how the truck is tuned from the factory.

Need some more info here.  Gas?  Diesel?

its just strange, normally it would idle up to about 1200 rpm then slowly drop (which is normal) but then temperatures started dropping and now it only idles up to 900 rpm then slowly drop. It’s kinda disappointing i want to hear my exhaust
