2017 Sierra Trans pan drop n fluid change

Last year I dropped my pan and changed fluid and filter using Mobile 1 ATF. I’m gonna do it again this winter but want to use Amsoil, any danger of a little mixture of the two?  I have a 17 SLT 5.3 8 speed. Thanks in advance!

do this and maybe get more of the old out? I did this method on my truck and the wife’s suburban. Wasn’t too bad. 8 speed might be a little different

I switched to amsoil after dealer updates to new fluid and second dealer fluid flush didn’t improve Transmission shifting. I have 40k miles on amsoil on 8speed and very happy. Will do a pan drop and refill this summer with amsoil again. No troubles with mix, but did use the cooler hose and transmission pump to get a lot more than just pan oil out.

This looks like a good way to get more of the new fluid in but my transmission has no dipstick.  Here, he used the dipstick tube to put in 4 quarts so I couldn't do it that way, could this also be done by filling what you can through the hole on top of casing of the pan?
