Anyone ever use a touch up pen?

I need to touch up a few spots but it is winter obviously so pretty cold in the garage. Would a space heater be sufficient to keep a reasonable ambient temp on the target spot?

Interested in feedback, thx all

I'd wait for warmer weather.

I had a few chips on my roof (don’t ask) in December.  The temps were hovering around 3C- 4C.  No garage.  I used the touchup pen anyway.  It may not last but it’ll get me through the salty roads of Southern Ontario.  So far, it’s holding up.  I’ll check on it again in the summer.  For me it’s not really about having a perfect paint finish.  It’s just about preventing rust as much as I can.

thanks for the feedback guys - I'm thinking about testing preheating with a space heater and check the door (where the gouge is) temperature with a FLIR until it's ~85F. Once I can get that stable, I'm thinking I'll apply it.
