Has anyone upgraded the seats in a late model SLE Sierra to leather or Pleather. Or found quality seat covers that actually fit right. Thanks

I just installed the Vertex custom covers on my SLE a week ago. Cannot comment on durability but overall the fit is very good, the center console seat is the only spot I am not totally happy with. Overall they are a big upgrade over stock.

Apologies for the sideways photos but hopefully they help show how well the covers fit. Probably took 4-5 hours to install everything completely and being pretty picky.

They took almost 10 weeks to ship but I bought them on Black Friday sale so I think the were out of stock before my order came in.

I found a full set of oem leather takeoffs on ebay for $400 I believe and replaced my cloth.  Took some time and effort to remove each seat and swap from cloth to the leather, but I'm happy with the end result.  Wife's not real happy because we don't have seat heat, but she'll get over it.

I actually ordered some leather seat covers for my SLE. Super satisfied with the fit and quality. I went with Katzkin.

Me too, love them.  Nobody realizes they are not stock because of how flawlessly they fit

How did you get the rear seatcover tucked under the headrest trim? The front headrest trim comes off, but the rear headrest trim doesn't appear to come off and the pre cut holes on my new vertex seatcovers are barely bigger than the headrest posts and no way will they stretch over the trim. I am hesitant to cut the holes bigger and assume there has to be some way to remove the trim pieces. Any help here is appreciated so I don't have to call vertex customer service

Now I have a similar problem putting the covers on the headrests. The pre-cut hole for the tilt button on the headrest cover is way too small to stretch over that button. If I could take that ring off that's around the button, the cover would go on so much nicer. All my searches come up with is how to remove headrest which I already know how to do.

Any ideas?

PROBLEM SOLVED. I WAS ABLE TO STRETCH COVER OVER THE BUTTON WITHOUT DAMAGING THE NEW COVER.

THANKS
