Mine has done this since new. Pretty sure it has to do with the parking brake.

How so? The parking brake was not engaged. The creaking happens anytime I press on the brake pedal.

Have the pads checked. My truck starting doing it a little over a year ago, then the creaking turns into a grinding noise.

So, just had the brakes replaced at all 4 corners, no more noise. Done at 65000 miles.
