I have a 2022 Silverado 1500, same seats as HD.  I put Clazzio leather seat covers front and rear.  I had Clazzio on my previous 2011 Silverado.  Nice fit and look better than OEM.  Recommended👍

So as you know the new truck is a Chevrolet 2500 HD Custom it has the analog gauges . In the center of the dash is the little screen that you can switch to different read outs ,gas consumption etc. Does my truck have the transmission temperature available to see ? Maybe I'm not doing it correctly .

Thank you

Yes you just turn the small black dial that you would use to reset your trip. That will scroll you through all of your options. Trans temp is in there

Thanks fellas ! As far as seat covers have you seen the Sheer Comfort ones, they are made of Cordura . Seems we don't have that option without Custom Level Trim for the transmission temp . If I would have it  there would be a set of buttons on the right hand side of the steering wheel , bummer as I wanted this . Maybe I could order from GM and install  ? Or aftermarket . Banks ?  Thoughts .

Also I thought there would be an option to turn on the LED bed lights that are in  the back corners of the box . If you had a load in  you could turn them on and look in the mirror to see if all was good . Maybe that's another option.

Seems the truck we bought is not that loaded with options which is probably a good thing . less to go wrong

Do they not come on when you activate the “cargo lamp” switch. That’s how they came on in my 2018. If not, how are you turning them on?

they are both available for custom, keep messing with it

I will try again but I think if I'm reading the owners manual correctly I need an uplevel trim ,I think its an option on  the Custom, not basic to all Customs . I think if you are  able to see the Transmission temp reading you need the switches on the right hand of the steering wheel . I will look back on the YouTube video from Automotive Inquiries channel and see what his dash looks like . He was the one that got me hooked on the 2500 HD . He factory ordered his though and has more options than a Base Level Custom Trim . I'm sure you have all seen his video posted about 11 months ago .

On another note I don really care for the Easy Fill gas tank as someone can dump crap down into the fuel tank . Better safe than sorry comes to mind . Can you get a lockable cap from GM ?

Thank You

Did you not read what I said to you? You access the trans temp by turning the thin black dial that you use to reset your trip distance. The same old black dial that’s been in vehicles since I’ve been alive.

My WT displays trans temp on the screen in this fashion.

Hi Pryme . Yes I read your response and did try your solution  but must have skipped past the transmission Temp display . I I have now located the available read out and happy that I can access it . So Thank You for solving the that for me  !

So far we are really impressed with  the truck . Fit and finish seems great , handles great , everything seems to be working as it should , no rattles . So far all who have seen the truck and rode in it are impressed . They love the colour !

Hope it lasts until I no longer can drive as I'm not a spring chicken any longer ,LOL !

Have any of you fellas put  mud flaps on your 2500 ? If so what brand did you use RazorBack ?  Plastic or rubber ? I'm thinking that the factory splash guards are not going to give a whole lot of protection on the lower body panels ?
