So I'm looking into doing a trans flush using AMSOIL trans fluid on my 2016 Silverado 5.3 with the 6l80. So I noticed they have two types of fluid and I’m not sure what’s best for my application. I have 100k on the truck currently. I don’t trailer anything in it just use it more for every day driving to and from work and weekend baseball trips with my kid. So lots of driving in the city.  I recently upgraded the thermal bypass and it has been serviced by the dealer using AC Delco around 60k. I use AMSOIL for everything else but the trans so that’s my reason for switching. Also, it makes a sound when the fluid starts to get hot kinda like a sizzling sound. Truck shifts great no problems but I believe the sound is the cheap Ac Delco fluid when it gets too hot. My brother Denali did that as well until he switched to AMSOIL. I just want to make sure I get the correct one. The truck is also completely stocked. I paste the two types AMSOIL carries. Thx

I would not flush only drain what is in the pan, replace filter and refill with about 6 quarts of whatever you prefer. I just did a 3rd or 4th since 70K and I am at 100K. My pan looked great with only a bit of sludge on the magnet. I have continued to use the AC Delco fluid, but I wanted to use Redline but so expensive I figured keep using the Delco stuff since no issues.

I hope mine continues to shift well.

I put the amsoil signature in my 2018 at 65,000m. Now has 95,000m. Works. In fact all the slippage in lower gears that the dealer tried to address twice with flush and fluid upgrade, is gone. Runs and shifts smooth. Good vids on YouTube how to drain, pump more out through trans cooler, and replace. Good luck. Pretty straightforward job.

You want the Signature Series ATL, it's the blue label on the package/bottle.
