Just saw a thread on GM Authority and AEV is now offering the ZR2 skidplates directly on their website. I know I and others have been waiting for them to be released. Expensive, but I expected they would be.

Doing some more reading on their webpage and was wondering about the radiator skid plate but didn't see it on the webpage. I found this in the FAQ's:
Doesn’t the Silverado ZR2 Bison / Sierra AT4X AEV Edition have a radiator skid plate as well?
Yes, however that skid plate is only compatible with ZR2 Bison and AT4X AEV Front Bumper, therefore it is only available as a service part through the dealership.

Thank you for this info.  I've been waiting for it ever since it was announced.  Now I'm going to be $1,800 poorer.

Too bad the rear bumper isn't available on the AEV site

It's available now for $3,000

I have the AT4X HD version. I bought both bumpers from AEV. The back bumper was an easy install. The front wasn’t terrible but I’ve had problems with my front park assist since installing it. No help from AEV or GM.

Edit: Sorry for dragging up an old thread, just posting for anyone looking to spend a little less cash, i use my truck offroad and hard. they will definitely hold up 100x better then the factory plastic

I bought the RC front skid 5 months ago. Much beefier than the plastic front piece and the bottom aluminum on the Z71 plate. I bought some 90 degree brackets and drilled holes in the front to bolt the front edge to the lower bumper bracket. That way there's something bolted farther forward than the mid plate bolts of the RC and stock one.
