 85573256 is the most current camera that would be in the trailer camera kit inside the housing.  If you scroll up the thread you can see that the trailer camera opens up and you can swap out the camera.

85573256 OEM Camera for Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra 2500, 3500

It now has a picture, but I’m struggling with calibrating. I towed it 5 to 6 miles, but it never finished. I checked old pictures to ensure I have the same camera angle, and it looks to be the same. I was trying to find the 2025 Camera setup instructions to see if the 35 deg angle or the measurements changed, but I was unable to find it online.

 

Here is my old setup with my 2023 truck with everything working, and the second is of the new camera with my 2025 truck working. I changed the angle slightly up since this photo so it just includes the bumper like my old photo, but it still won’t calibrate. I also read that I need to be on streets with both lines, but the road I tried to calibrate on only has a centerline. I’ll try again next week.

Can you post a link to the one you found on eBay? I ran into the same problem you did and got the wrong camera

I just tried to order one from chevroletpartsdirect.com and it went through until I got an email saying it's on backorder and they refunded the order.

It looked like there were a few options on eBay, even one that included a bracket that was listed at $70, exactly the same camera and throw the bracket away.

The 85573256 OEM Camera works on the 2024-2025, it’s the newer camera.

I just moved from a '21 AT4 3500 to a '25 Denali Ultimate and neither of my trailer cameras work.  Tried to order 85573256 from the GMC website.  I can add 85573256 to my cart but can't check out so i called my dealer.  They said there is a new part number on the parts diagram for the tailgate camera - 85813746.  Google doesn't show any results for this new part number yet.  Anyone know if 85813746 is a legit substitution and will it work as i replace the old cameras in my traier cam set up?  Thanks in advance!

85813746 replaces 85573256.  85813746 has stock.

Just to follow up for anyone that might be interested - I picked up two 85813746 cameras to replace the older cameras that worked with my '21 truck.  The 85813746 work perfectly and are a replacement for 85573256.  This must be a really recent substitution because my 2025 has a 85573256 in the tailgate and it was built in late March.  thanks,
