I hate this holiday even more than I used too.

Alright, so this girl I know sort-of asks me to come listen to her sing at a coffee shop.(she tells me when/where, and says "come if you want too" ). It's upposed to start around 9:30. I talk to a guy at my work who is very familiar with the place, and I tell him I not sure If I can make 9:30, he tells me not to worry, whoever has the mic has it from 9:30 to 11:00. "great", I think, I get home at 9:20. so I "clean up", and head out.Parking lot: 10:10. Get Inside 10:15-10:30(parking lot recon to see if anyone I know is parked there). So I go inside, instantly nausiated . I HATE coffee, to me it is a vile drink. The coffee bean is a vile weed (IMHO). I've actually never drank it, but its flavor does nothing for me(candy, coffee chocloate, etc) and It's smells horrible (IMHO). I endure it long enough to look around order a banana smoothie. I don't see her. I look around some more, still don't see her . Oh great, there's four people I know playing pool. They look at me, look away. I just ordered a banana smoothie that tastes odd, is overpriced, the girl I came for isn't there, and now people I know are trying to figure out why I'm there . so am I . So I leave. not too happy, of course. I go to pick up some Chevron Techron for the bimmer. I thought it treated 16 gallons, cost 5 bucks. I get to Wal-Mart. It costs 6 bucks, treats 12 gallons . GREAAAAAAT, they don't have any 20 gallons bottles either: banghead: . So I buy it. I walk in line to check out. just so happens I get the moron cashier .

 

So I go to a coffee shop, and I hate coffee, to look for a girl who (indirectly) invited me, who isn't there. I order an overpriced smoothie, that dosen't taste good. I go to wal-mart, get a product in a size I didn't want, and my cashier has issues with the register. And yes, now I have a headache.

It's depressing to watch every single one of my friends find that someone, and yet I'm still alone.

 

I know I shouldn't piss and moan, but I'm just not happy with the cards life dealt t me.

Luckly, the woman and I both think valentines day is an overrated marketing ploy from halmark, and FTD....exchanged cards....made dinner.....then we had a romantic evening watching the special two hour COPS "Love Hurts" edition on FOX....if I could only have thrown some football in, the evening would have been perfect.....LMAO

My girlfriend was sick on friday and saturday so I just stayed home working on some homework all weekend.

 

We did however go out and see 50 first dates on sunday which was a pretty good movie.

My girlfriend has been on me to take her riding on the 4-wheeler for awhile so we finally went Saturday. I'm in MS and if you watched the weather for the southeast US this weekend ... it was coooold and wet! We still rode though and she had fun ... actually got onto me for slowing down when we got to the mudholes at first! I lubs her!

edit: Oh, how could I forget?!?!? I also managed to knock the tailgate off my truck! Riding around my grandfathers land in 2wd w/ tailgate down, fishtailed into tree which caught tailgate where it would have the most torque to twist it off. Yea, go me.

My valentines day was friday since my gf worked saturday. I got her some flowers and a teddy bear holding a rose yankee candle. We went out to eat and went to see 50 1st dates which was a funny movie.

 

My trucks valentines day present was a wash and partial wax (at 30 degrees outside). I noticed saturday that the color of my truck is blue (it has been white/brown from all the dirt/salt).

i took my wife out to dinner at a nice restaurant and got her a gift cert. for a full body massage at some high-dollar joint up the road. All I got was some candy (sour-patch kids, swedish fish, etc etc.) and the old faithful "I've got a headache" Man, that's BS!! Next year for valentine's day I'm finding me a mistress......

I'll start here- my wife's B-Day was Jan 28th, I sent her a nice thing of flowers to work. Big brownie points ...

 

So V-day coming up, look into roses- $100 ?!? I tell her, sorry honey, looked into it- $100. She says don't waste the money. I tell her it's the thought that counts, right ?!!? At least I looked, more brownie points !!

 

So I leave work early Friday, find her some killer roses in a nice vase, full of petals, $50 .

 

So I delivered them in person. But- she never saw me, so I sneak out. Her girl friends then put a note (they saw me) that the flowers are from one of the Mexican installers from the warehouse !!! So she's buggin, calls me, I play stupid- WHO sent you flowers ?!!!!!? Do I need to come up there and whoop some azz ?!!!!?

 

The owner finally drops the dime that he saw me earlier in the day !!!!

 

And none of the other girls got SQUAT from their hubbies !!!!! MAJOR-POINTS for the smokester !!!

 

My gift was dyno'ing the truck .

 

 

 

And not a headache in days !!!!!!

Mine sucked ass cuz I spent most of the day in jail waiting on someone to come and bail me out of a BS DWI. I got pulled over for broken License Plate light, druck out of the truck in a sleet storm. Then taken to jail because he gave me the pen test in the rain and I blinked one too many times for his liking, then I refuse the breathalyzer cuz I'm obviously sober and I'm not losing my dignity to some moron state trooper. So yeah, but after I was liberated I got a nice new Polo shirt and some candy, so the day wasn't a total waste....hope next saturday is better, me and the gf's 2 year anniverseray!
