Hello all,

I have a 2021 GMC 2500 SLE 6.6 gas with approx. 75,000 miles. I am looking to keep this truck for a few more years. What are the best things to do (Preventive maintenance and mods) to keep this truck running and driving smoothly?

P.S daily driver. Used for limited towing and work.

Keep changing the oil using the correct type. Assuming you havent already,  I would be doing the trans service along with the diffs and the transfer case. If you really wanted to get deep into it I would change out the brake fluid as well. I typically suck out the master reservoir and refill with fresh and then just gravity bleed each wheel. I know it doesnt get all the fluid out of the ABS module but its cheap and it does help.

Check out the maintenance schedules in the owners manual.

(download the complete manual if yours just has the  ''essentials" version)

There is both  'severe service' and 'regular service' schedules.
