Engine dress up

Anyone ever do any underwood dress up. I have a 2024 with an l8t gasser in red hot. I was thinking the plastic covers on the intake and valve covers being red would look great and gm performance have red wires. I would rather not paint the plastic. Afraid it would not look good long term.

Engine bay dress up is for the sports cars.  

 

The paint never holds on all the ones I've seen spray painted.  Look like garbage after a year or two.

 

Not sure where you are seeing "red wires" but there's no red plug wires for the LT engines in the Chevy Performance catalog that I can see.

Those wires won't work on your truck. They are designed for old school one coil ignition system.

One thing to consider... You basically won't be able to see the fancy spark plug wires without a step ladder.
