Transmission dipstick location

Can't find a dipstick for transmission on my 2016 5.3 1500 4x4 Highcountry?  How would I check, add fluid?

passanger side rear of motor dipstick? thats where the owners manual states it is.

You have the 8 speed (most likely) since you have a 5.3 High Country which does not have a traditional dipstick.  

 

On the 8 speed, fluid level is set and checked via a plug in the transmission pan with the engine running and transmission up to full operating temperature.  

It is filled via a plug in the transmission, passenger side of the case.  There is a plug where the dipstick tube would have normally been in, that's the fill port.
