Z85. Only heavier shocks?

Does Z85 include anything other than heavier shocks?

I think the Z85 has heavier shocks and maybe one more leaf than a Z83 (never really seen a Z83). But smaller diameter shocks and same springs as a Z71.

I think that is correct. Z71 springs with a smaller diameter shock.

 

the Z85 suspension is required by GM if you do any towing.
