Truck won’t start

I have a 95 GMC K1500 I’ve had for a while, I have been driving it and it just quit, went to fire it back up and nothing but 1 click, all the dash lights work and headlights, anyone know what this could be?

Could be a bad connection at the battery. Normally if all the dash light/headlights work but it just clicks on the starter and all the lights go out, it's a bad connection at the battery. The big amp draw can't go through with a bad connection.

 

I'd be checking the wiring for sure, possible that is why the truck just shut off too.

Also check the body ground
