I looked through numerous threads and didnt see an answer specific to a ZR2.

I'm picking up a 2025 ZR2 this weekend and am thinking about upsizing tires to 295/70/18s. Has anyone had rubbing issues using this size on a ZR2?

That's gonna be a close fit.  2 areas I think you'd need to watch for are the upper ball joint and wheel well liner at full lock while reversing (I know that's specifically weird).  I installed 285/75r18 on a stock Trail Boss and I was close to the upper ball joint and rubbing at full lock in reverse.  A fee months later I installed the ReadyLift 2"/1" leveling kit.  The new upper control arms have larger ball joints, so the gap to the tire for smaller.  On occasion I still get rubbing in the wheel well liner at full lock, but the wheels have to be off camber and only on the right side.  295/70r18 is 34.25" tall and 11.6" wide.  285/75r18 is 34.8" tall and 11.2" wide.  Imo, you might be okay, but it's going to be very close.

Thanks for the reply Transient.

On Saturday I looked at an 2025 AT4X with the exact same tires I am looking at and he said there was no rubbing anywhere. I believe the AT4X and ZR2 have the same setup mechanically on the front end but not positive.  I guess there can be small differences in building it too that might create issues.

There is a local store that does a buy 3 get 1 free sale a couple times a year so might order a set and see how it goes.
