Kmac7912 Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Hi, on my 2019 high country I have been chasing a steering issue where I’ll be driving and when I need to move just the slightest bit to the left the steering feels like I am going to spin out of control. I have replaced the left side suspension and had alignments done and I still have this problem, anyone else have this issue?

Passengers side from the firewall to the frame. Look for corrosion or green rot. Lots of problems caused by this ground.
Kmac7912 Posted May 11, 2025 Author Posted May 11, 2025 Already replaced the ground straps. In anticipation of this happening. So my guess is I may have a bad steering rack? It drives fine it’s just barely turning left it feels like it’s just going to break loose then catches itself.

Kmac7912 Posted May 14, 2025 Author Posted May 14, 2025 98,000, we did look at another ground strap today and it was green, so I ordered it and will replace it tomorrow. I hope it’s a bad ground. I don’t want to be replacing a steering rack.
