Radio, CD quit. See pic

2011 GMC Sierra.  The radio suddenly quit coming on.  No matter what buttons I push the only thing on the screen is the telephone symbol.  See pic attached.  Any suggestions?

Check the fuses? Always start with the basics

maybe pull the right fuse and make sure that symbol goes away, then reinstall the fuse and see if it's better

if not, maybe pull the radio and unplug/replug it in

 

If that doesn't work, and it's getting power/ground, I'd just swap it.
