Have you ever changed the cabin air filter?

 

Per gm service;

The most common causes of undesirable odors are:

• Debris in the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module.
• Microbial growth on the evaporator core.

Check for a popped out vent, under back window between box. Cant get it back in. Box needs removal to  access

 

just fixed it from inside 

remove back seat rest. Pull the vent back in easily 

I added marine glue and a screw to secure them. 

dried out seat back and carpet
