countryguy1717 Posted October 18, 2025 Posted October 18, 2025 Did the cerakote on my headlights today, and so far happy with it, also still have enough to do it all over again if I need to. Gonna do the trim and paint tomorrow. All 3 kits were $50 4 1
Grumpy Bear Posted October 19, 2025 Posted October 19, 2025 I did the grill about 10 years ago with this product and it still looks new. It's some good stuff. Your headlight look really nice. 3
countryguy1717 Posted October 19, 2025 Author Posted October 19, 2025 Idk about the paint ceramics, I guess time will tell, but the headlights and trim packages look good 2
PFTX_5.3 Posted October 20, 2025 Posted October 20, 2025 I did the headlight kit & trim kit about 2 years ago now. The trim kit has lasted, but the headlights faded again and developed UV cracks. That could just be the central Texas sun, though. I recently decided to replace both headlights for about $300, interested to see how those will hold up. 2

She sits outside 24/7/365 I've tried all kind of different products. Nothing seems to last. I have read about Cerakote and see how well it does for most and seems to be something that would work well for me. Best place to get it? Our vehicles sit outside as well and the sun here on the east coast is intense in the summer. 2
