Is the adjustment bolt actually bent,or is the cable just tweaked a little?

It's kinda hard to tell from the picture

 

Anyhow,it kinda looks like 1 of the rear cables may be a little stretched,or hanging up a bit....

your picture shows perfectly what i have posted in the past.

 

Why do they have the Park Brake "ADJUSTMENT" bolt all the way extended? is it not common sense that a park brake would loosen up after the factory?

its definitly bent. My only guess is sometime this past winter a large chunk of ice got hung up on there and bent it. I know that area is good for trapping snow and then it freezes if you dont knock it off

Mine looks the exact same way, I don't think this is a problem or even needs to be fixed. It's just a parking brake and when not engaged there is no (or relatively low) pressure on the cables.

 

Just my opinion though!

Mine looks exactly the same. Never worried about it much - just figured it wasn't the best of engineering. No problems though.

As long as its not cracked and still holds the trk when its applied

But it does look funny...but than again...how often do you get under thr to look at it?
