Long term problems??

Hey guys,

I have figured out my mod list pretty much, I am just wanting to know if there will be any long term problems? I am gonna stick with my Hypertech(90hp setting) and adding the AFE Stage II w/ the Banks 4" monster exhaust. I am just wanting to know if the tranny will be fine and will there be any longterm problems with this set-up? Are there any things I can do insurance? I dont wanna spend thousands on tranny upgrades.

Nothing is free, if you boost it that much it will shorten the life of engine/tranny assembly if you pull it hard with that extra power. If you just cruise without a trailer, you will most likey have no problems. At the very least you need to beef up/increase cooling on tranny and up the maintance on it to watch for early signs of trouble. That 7 or 800 FTlbs of torque look good on paper but the low RPM it makes it at and its narrow RPM range as well puts a lot of strain on the tranny.
