Dodge Question

My brother just bought a 2004 Dodge (Quad Cab 2500 with Short Bed). He asked me what kind of a camper shell to get. I have no clue. I figured I'd ask here as the different brands make them for all trucks. Anybody have any suggestions? He wants to be able to take his canoe on top of it.

Good luck as I am sure that they are all model specific. I would have want for a longe bed and cap if I planned to carry a canoe as a longer cap would give a large contact and tie down radius for a long canoe and hold it more securely too. He is going to need a small step ladder to secure it up there too regardless.

The Can back is pretty good. I like the versatility of these. There are some made by Leer, ARE, and Snugtop also. These are more of the fixed fiberglass type. They make optional racks that mount to the top of the shell for stuff like canoes, bikes, etc.
