Cab filter

after the post of changing the incab airfilter, I went to look at mine and I couldnt easily find it, I took the bottem off by the passenger area, and all I saw was the AC radiator. anyone have a clue? Thanks

I could be wrong but I dont think they started using them till '99...I know that my '95 doesnt have 1

Only the 1999 - 2002 models have them. GM took them out in the 2003 and 2004 models, and never had them prior to 1999.

I wish they would have left off the dual-zone climate control and put a cabin filter on the '03's. Especially down here in dusty-a** Arizona. I never use the dual-zone but I'm always vacuuming out my truck.

Same here. I have a 99 5.7 Tahoe. I took the the passenger side cover down and just saw the A/C... Where is it hiding?

On the Tahoe, you are 1 year too early to have the filter. They didn't start putting them in until the current body style for a couple of years only ('00-02).

My '00 2500 Sub didn't have them. It seems, some did, some didn't. If I remember correctly the owners manual said," if your truck has them" and then went on to explain how to get to them. BTW the dealer told me it did have them, he also said that it had the Onstar personal calling feature, it didn't.
