Here are the new tires I got Friday afternoon. Havent put them on the truck yet (going to wait until I have time to do the front brakes and right before my trip to WV in a few wks). They are LT255/85/R16 BFG Mud Terrains. Got all 4 for like $652 from tirerack. (Just a note I am not to happy with their install. It seems all 4 of my rims were scratched. I dont know how noticable they will be once I mount them. Tomorrow I am taking pics)

For now enjoy. They are pretty mean looking tires (I got a bunch of looks on the way home :puke: )

Geez those things are narrow! Hope your used to a hum because those babies will . Nothing like the look of a grip tire on a 4X4. :puke: Hey and whats the deal. You've got 2 sets of rims?

they are taller than the 285s (not by much) and are narrower by appx an inch maybe??? I dont mine I cant stand the rocks being flung up on the rear anyways

The road noise from the BFG MT will be minimal and especially quite for a MT tire.

You will however pick up larger rocks, (3/4 inch stone) and that will hit your paint. Unfortunately, those stones are usually very hard on the paint.

Show us a pic. of the wheels!!! :puke:
