Avalanche accessories I'd like to see

Someone pipe up if these already exist...

The first day we had our Avalanche, I thought, "Hmmm, wonder how long it takes before those fog lights get cracked by a rock flung up from some jacked-up F150?"  :)   Anyone know if fog light grilles are available?  I like the ones that the Subaru Outbacks have.

The second thing is another grille to cover the cargo lamps--it seems that if you use the bed to "chuck stuff in" (like building materials, yard waste, etc.) you'll eventually crack these lenses.  Not that most people are likely to be so abusive, but maximum utility often punishes with maximum impact.  It's kind of lame to have this super-tough Pro-Tec material that GM's so proud of, and then wimpy lamp covers...

Anyway....

Ok...My suggestion would be that the power door locks include the locks on the tailgate and storage compartments.

Also we should have a button on either side in the back to move both seats forward enough to allow the conversion.  It can be a pain to go from side to side and move the seats up and then "switch".

IMHO of course.

I definately agree with the buttons in back to move the front seats forward.  A switch to the cargo lamps in the bed would be great.

Have you guys tried to wash the back window yet.......how about the top.  They should have built a fold out stair system like an airplane for me to reach everything.  Thank God for the grab handle and the 17 inchers or I would never get that roof shiny.  And this truck traps more water in every knook and cranny then you could imagine.  I had to keep driving around the block and then wiping up the streaks all afternoon.  How about installing a autodry function for the whole truck.  Good thing it took 4 hours to clean on Saturday so I could get snowed on Sunday......................blasted weather.

MIKE LITTLE TIP

When your done washing take an air compressor and blow the water out

Any thoughts about a recommended Air Compressor.  I have looked at pressure washers in the past but held off since I had no idea how much power I  needed.  I think the same could be true with an air compressor.  This would really be my only use for it so I don't want to spend a fortune.

Someone else suggested instead of an air compressor, use a leaf blower...

I tried that.  Worked really well.  Probably looked a little goofy "blow drying" my truck, but it worked.  :)
