Tattoos

I've been contemplating getting a tattoo (or maybe 2) in the near future. Wondering if anyone else here has any? If you do do you have regrets about getting it done?

I've always wanted to get the guardian demon guy from the Stone beers. That guy is cool! Maybe get him on my back somewhere. But not the beer's name, that would jus tbe silly!

I have a skull and cross bones on my leg, with my fraternity letters on it, on my leg...and I have a mermaid from my shoulder to my elbow on my left arm....so far that one isnt done yet.. I've gotten about 20 hours of work done, and I have about 10 hours left.....

 

whenever I want a tattoo, i give myself 2 weeks....if i still want it two weeks later, I'll get it....I have a really good friend that does/did mine. Honestly I probably would never get another one if he or a friend of his didn't do it. He's a great artist, and very very clean.

 

I have no regrets what so ever....people always stop me to look at my mermaid....and they think it's fake. My advice to you would be to think about it for a while....and find someone good, or if you have friends that have them and they have an artist they really like check them out. I have been in some really clean and really nasty tattoo parlors. I would never get one done, unless the shop smells like bleach....no joke.....the guy that did mine, was a freaking A-hole about keeping a clean shop, and that's they way I like it.

 

Most of all remember to have some fun, and a warning....once you get one....you'll get more...they're addictive....and they don't hurt.....I compare it to a sun burn for about a day after your done. If ya need to know anything else just PM me.

I've been thinking about getting a barb wire or a tribal wrap-around on the biceps and a cross on the shoulder. Maybe it'll happen before law school.

I've heard that getting your tounge pierced doesn't hurt.....but when i bite my tounge good and hard it brings tears to my eyes....i can't imagine having something stuck through it...yikes

I personally can't stand piercings. They aren't for me.

 

I've got a friend that has an eyebrow piercing and a tongue piercing.

 

Where he works they don't allow visible piercings, so everyday he takes the eyebrow piercing out and puts a piece of fishing-line in the pierce-mark so the hole(s) won't heal.

 

He whips out his tongue-piercing every chance he gets. And wiggles it around for the sole porpose of grossing the rest of us out.

I have 2 tat's. One I share with my Brother on the back of our neck's just below a shirt collar. It's W but when you see it most people think it's a bat wing.

 

I have another Tat on my shoulder. That I share with my old buddies from home ;) lol, I guess I am a team tat guy.

Yup of all piercings, the tongue hurts the least, even less than an earlobe. and 100 times less than biteing ones tongue.

I have 5 tattoos, all on my arms. Skulls, flames, a dragon, pirate skull...you get the idea. I got my first one about 12 years ago. Plan on getting many more...between truck parts, bass eqiupment, and tattoos, it's a miracle I have any money left for food.

I have two, an iron cross on one shoulder and a giant armadillo that wraps across my chest, arm and back on the other side.

 

the way i look at tattoos is how i look at life. i would rather look back on my life and regret i did something than regret i didn't do something.

 

but get something that has meaning to you, don't just walk into the tattoo artist and pick something out of one of their books.

 

and never get a name!

and

Tweetie Bird dressed and painted like Gene Simmons of KISS on my shoulder

 

Absolutely no regrets. I've been considering getting one more on my back near my shoulder blade, but I keep finding other things to spend the money on. If they weren't so exspensive I'd probably have a third already.
