Any truck stuff for Christmas???

[2000 GMC]

Wife and kids bought me a Craftsman 10" buffer.  Now if I can find a place warm enough to wax my truck.  I also recieved a 2 gallon Craftsman wet/dry vac for cleaning it out.  Wife  asked me to clean out her car to make sure it worked.  Santa said I might get some nurf bars on pay day since she has a hard time getting into the truck also.  Rest was the same old 'dad' stuff.  

What did everyone else get?

I didn't get any cool stuff for my truck, but I did get a lot of other stuff that I needed like socks, shirts, some computer stuff and money.

 

I'll let you take that buffer for a spin on my truck.

I put this on another thread also, but I got a chrome hitch reciever bowtie and a master lock for it, put it on yesterday.  Got some nice shirts and a jacket, really didn't check out my gifts too much because I was helping the 2-1/2 year old with her stuff.

 

Tried to install my power tailgate lock yesterday, but it's missing a couple of connectors, got to call them up.  I've had it for a couple of months, 1st time I've had a chance to put it on.  Oh well.  I think the next mod is going to be the audio steering wheel controls.

285/75/16 bfg all terrains  

went out and bought 16x8 AE 589 rims today and got it all mounted. its a whole different truck now!  ill get pics tommorow i hope after some mud (gotta test the tires) and then clean after a full wash

I got a set of Bridgestone Dueler A/T's (siped) to replace the stock FireBlowns. I still went with the 265/75R16's and they get great traction, and are very quiet. The thing I don't like about them, and which will probably force me to take them back is the fact that they tend to throw rocks. I don't remember the FireBlowns throwing rocks. I am thinking about taking the Bridgestones back under their 30 day test drive and getting some Cavalier Sport Kings, or Discoverer(?). The Sport King's are the same carcass as the BFG's with similar tread (no 3x sidewall) and I just saw a set of Discoverer something-or-others with what looked like exactly the same tread pattern as the BFG A/T's. Any idea where to get the Discoverer tires?

I would highly recommend the Sport Kings.  I have 285's on my Z and to my knowledge they do not throw rocks.  We also had these on our Dakota and they did well on it too...

Ohhh boy!  My Av is shakin' it's so happy!      Full set of 4 splash guards, bug shield, WeatherTech window visors, Avalanche bed tent  -AND - a radio controlled Av with an R/C  boat and trailer!  I feel like a kid!
