So anyone going to one of the big autoshows this year?  

 

I am hitting the chicago autoshow probably on a friday.  Last yr we went the day it opened (crazy).  Cant wait just need to get a hook up with free tix

I'm going to any and all autoshows in the area.  I usually hit all the car shows in the milwaukee area during the summer (and the one at state fair in february) plus the new auto show thingy they have.

I'm definatly going to the Chicago Auto Show this year.  I think we should set up a meet for all members going down there this year.  Anytime of the week is fine for me, I normally just take a day off of school and go on a weekday, a lot less crowded.

There's a classic car show coming here in Feb.  My buddy's putting his cherry '65 mustang in it.  It's white, with 2 blue bumper to bumper racing stripes and he just put a new Flowmaster and headers on last fall.  Best part?  11,000 original miles.  Bought it off his own car lot when someone traded it in cuz they were moving.  What a steal!

Ummm, the Chicago Auto Show isn't until LATE January, early February.  Knowing that World of Wheels which also takes place at McCormick Place, takes place on February 8-10th My guess is that the Auto show takes place the week before despite it running against the Super Bowl (which the Bear's will be in    ).  You should be able to go to any dealer in the Chicago area to pick up free tickets.  I always go free from my dealer.  

 

I think you're referring to the Detroit Auto Show which is this weekend.

what time were you thinking of going?  I could probably take a vacation day and head down there to check out the show.  Maybe a few of my friends would go too.  I know one of them doesn't work on fridays.

Sorry, from the way you originally posted it sounded as if you meant this Friday and I was scratching my head thinking what the heck is Ryan thinking.  

 

Anyway, if it is the same weekend as World of Wheels, that's a bonus as our F-Body group will also be showing.  

 

So I'll be there, just don't know when.
