I also have a dual purpose bike. I got a 04 Honda xr650L and the bike is so much fun! New pirelli mt21's, jet kit, head pipe, uni air filter and this thing really hauls on the trails! Those VTX's gotta have gobbs of torque, I remember when they first came out. I couldnt believe the size of that engine and the power. Anyways, good luck with your new bike.

I ride a Yamaha GTS1000. I also have a Yamaha Vino 125 scooter.

One of my other passions is collecting Honda CT70's (I have 3 of them) along with my 1986 Honda 50 "Chrome Special".

I ride the Sportster in my Signature. It's got Cams, Ignition, modded carb, etc. It's a blast to ride, and can blow any "big twin" hog off the road :chill:

My dad rides an 04 Victory Vegas, it';s a beautiful bike, reliable, and comfortable.

My brother's 04 Ducati is just plain freaking awesome

Heh, my uncle had one of those and I got to ride it. It was alot of fun! I haven't done much riding but I still felt right at home on the DR. And like you said, plenty of torque to have a little fun! :seeya:

Personally, I don't have a motorcycle though I want one sooooo bad! Maybe I'll just put some DOT approved tires and some blinkers on the Raptor and ride it. :chill:

Well a 1998 Suzuki Marauder 805 for my personal ride.  As for work...

2004 Harley Davidson Road King

Our police here in Nashville ride Harley's too, sounds awesome when a group cruise by. I remember back in the early 80’s they had these 800 Suzuki automatics (had to be a bureaucrats idea), I had a 81 GPZ 550 and one chased me for miles and couldn’t catch me, I didn’t even know he was back there. My dad just bought a Suzuki Marauder 800, he loves it, it felt too small for me.

Yep, our Road Kings are great now that I'm used to a bike that size. Our pipes are a bit quiet, but we may deal with that when ordering the 05's. The Suzi was a hell of a deal. The right place at the right time. It only had 3800 miles on it when I got it in May. The paint was also done by the last owner and changes colors in the sun. It is a bit of a small bike for me for the long term though, but I mainly got it to get some riding time in before I went up for the school for work.

My dad loves his Marauder, he bought it from a Metro officer that bought a Yamaha Silverado. Dad also has a 1984 Goldwing with 130K on it. I was looking at a 1400 Intruder but I couldn't get over the single disc break up front.

Yeah, a guy at one of the local HD dealers here was trying to steer me towards an 84 Goldwing when I started looking for a bike. Sure, I want a freighter that size when I'm starting out learning to ride. I don't think so. Thankfully I checked the paper and found the Uki when I did. Right place, right time, right price.

The one under me and the one behind me are my two favorite toy's.

Been playing with the toy on the back since '78 and the toy under me since '02 when I upgraded from a H-D Dyna-Glide.
