Welcome to the Forum :chevy:

In my experience, the wire colors on GM vehicles are fairly consistant...but I don't have them ALL in memory...but the rear colors should be as follows:

YELLOW - left turn/brake

DARK GREEN - right turn/brake

BROWN - parking/running lights

LIGHT GREEN - back-up lamps

BLACK OR WHITE - chassis ground

If I remember correctly,the front should be:

DARK BLUE - right turn

LIGHT BLUE - left turn

BROWN - parking lights

BLACK - ground

Hope this helps :D

dude u rock.. thanks alot... when i 1st got the truck it had 22 guage speaker wire running to the rear lights and i just hated that..

Did the lights flash with the music? :chevy:

I hate barn-jobs like that :lol::D

As long as you have to re-wire the lights, may I suggest you upgrade the wire to 14 gauge. I wouldn't go any smaller than 16 gauge wire, and be sure to seal all of your connections with silicone or use water-tight connectors to avoid any corrosion problems in the future...just a thought
