Differential Fluid

How difficult is it to change the rear differential fluid in a 2005 Yukon XL.

 

It is very easy in my 1988 GMC Suburban, remove the fill plug, remove the 10 bolts, let it drain, replace the gasket, replace the bolts, refill and replace plug.

 

On the Yukon there is some additional suspension stuff near the differential.

 

What needs to be removed if anything to get the rear cover off to change the fluid ??? Or is there a drain plug ???

I have no idea about difficulty, I just took my truck to the dealer and paid $45 for a royal purple change.

It should have a drain plug, mine does. i also used royal purple, about $7/quart.

I'm not the most mechanically inclined individual, and I changed mine out twice on my 99 Rado.
