Just closed on my new townhome, and went to pull the tahoe in the garage, it Juuuuust fits in there! Height and length! I actually had to trim down the extra part of the bracket on the door opener for it would catch my roof rack. And if its not pulled in almost exactly straight, its too long! Man talk about a tight fit!!

Good thing I'm single and its a 2 car garage for all the tools ;)

None the less feels good to finally be a home owner!

Congrats, I'll never get my sierra to fit in the garage. Ive spent a few nights with the truck pulled in as much as i can and the garage door comin down on the bed.

Gratz on the new place. My truck barely fits in my garage too. I have to pull and handle and some bolts of the door to get it to fit.

I spend 2 hours re-doing the rear shelves in my garage and my truck has just enough walking room front and back.....and after all that work the wife says"excuse me the garage is my parking spot".....so the new truck sits outside!

Nice, I know I had to add 4 feet of length and 2 feet of width to accomodate my truck and all my other toys. Of course I hadn't counted on the enclosed trailer I inherited, but thankfully the door is an 8ft, so I've got just enough room up top for the hatch to clear.

Congratulations on the new home! :seeya:

I know what you mean about cramming into the garage. 18.5' of Suburban in my 19.5' garage. :chevy: I had to completely rearrange my shelves and workbench and still have to park slightly diagonal to clear the door. Gotta love it when it's hot or raining out though. :)

Same here. Just got an '03 extended cab, and I have about 6" in front, and 6" in back. Gonna have to hang a tennis ball from the ceiling or something.

I was REALLY wanting to get a brush/grille guard, but I'm afraid to push my luck. Anybody know a specific style that doesn't stick out from the bumper much?

I pruchased my 780 sq ft. 2 car garage a year and a half ago. My short box extended cab fits in there just fine, even with the shelves. All My plumbing sutff is in that corner, I park up to the shelves so I can move behind it, but If I want to work on it, I postion it close to the door. The other side has my camper, motorcycle, lawmower, snowblower, air compressor and the rest of the yard stuff over there. My bicycles hang from the ceiling. Oh yeah, it came with a 2 bedroom house too. (but it was the detached garage that got me there)

Congrats on your new Garage... Its a great place to put the buffett and keg for the garage warming.

I just put a garage on my house. 24X30 foot with room over for storage. This is what gets to stay in my part of the house: My 2004 Silverado, my 18.5' boat & my motorcycle. All my toys stay nice and dry. Its great having a toy box again...
