want another quadrasteet truck

So who can tell me where/how to (positivly,absolutly) find out if I can order a truck like I want? as GM IS dropping Quadrasteer I want another one before it is to late if not!!

To my knowledge, the quadrasteer option is available through the 2005 model year. Go by your dealer and see if he has any in stock. Have the dealer get on his GM computer and see if any other dealer in the area has any in stock that you like.

As a last resort, ask the dealer if he can still order one this year.....

The word is that Quadrasteer will not be available on any '06 GM vehicle. I had been told back in early Feb that April 8 was cut-off for ordering most '05 Siverado/Siera models including with Quadrasteer. I have subsequently been told that due to more sluggish sales and over supply of pickups and SUVs that GM decided to shut a number of plants down early so as to complete the new model change over sooner to get the '06 models out earlier.

So... your only chance to get a Quadrasteer truck or Suburban is to find one at a dealer or "in the pipeline". There are probably a few, but you will really have to search. Used is another alternative.

I just got my new 1500HD with QS today that I ordered mid Feb. I got real nervous when they "lost" it for a couple weeks after it was built and invoiced but had not shown up at the dealer. All is good now!
