Is it possible to raise the rearview mirror on windshield?

I have a heck of a time with checking entrance ramps or hills for vehicles, the rearview mirror is constantly in my way.  I have to duck my head a good 5 inches to get a clean view.

On another note, why are there sunvisors?  I HATE them with the utmost passion!!!  (Before you hate me for saying such a thing, I need to mention, that I'm 6'2".)  The only thing I use them for is to stuff notes in.  If they are down and being used by someone, I might as well not even look in that direction for traffic.  Heheheh I should just take them off and be ridiculed by my short passengers.

I'm 6'-4" and I'll have to agree with you about the mirror and sunvisors.  My sister is always using the mirror and I can't ever see out the passenger side.  I'm tempted to just rip them out.

It is probably possible to move the mirror.  You'll have to "unglue" the tab that the mirror mounts on then reglue it further up on the windshield.  That glue is tough stuff though, it only seems to come undone when you don't want it to.

That is true TahoeMike, but I'm not sure how much adjustability of that mirror there is.  View wise, you need to avoid the homelink and lights in front, and then at the far back the ceiling lip at the hatch.
