Nav system and window tinting

Anyone with the Nav system and also tinted their front windows. Does the Nav work the same or worse?

I tinted the windshield with a ceramic based film, and it works fine. The metalized could definately render it inop. The ceramic is brutally expensive, and hard to do.. Might try to find a dyed film that suits your needs.

The nav's GPS antenna is under the dash pad in the center near the defroster duct opening. So, unless your tinting the winshield you will have no problems.
