Auto 4wd

Hey guys,

I was cruising down the highway today at 75 mph and starting messing with my radar detector on the windshield. Anyway, I don't know how, but my elbow or something must have hit auto 4wd. I felt the truck bump and so I immediately pressed 2hi again. Did I mess up the transfer case in anyway? I looked in the manual and it stated any speed but I don't know if 75mph counts as any speed. Anyway, thanks in advance and sorry about the stupid ass question.

75 counts as any speed to me. I'd say you are fine. Even if you hit the 4-Lo button the light would blink and never shift so you would still be fine. It has a safety in it to prevent things such as hitting the 4-Lo button at 75 (which if it shifted would cause damage) from happening.

AUTO 4X4 WILL NOT HARM YOUR TRANFER CASE AT ANY SPEED EVEN 75MPH.
