Dash cup holder

I have a 2001 Sierra, at the center/bottom of the dash is a cut out for where a center console would fit in, there is just a plastic civer on this that seems like a waist of storage or even cup holders or something, is there anything on other models that I can get for this spot, like a flip down cup holder, or tray or little glove box etc.??

Yes, 99s & 00s had them. They work ok but mine is kind of hard to pull out from fully closed. They also had a TSB for an updated one that did not vibrate as much or something (I have that one).

I had that in one of my trucks, it rattled when open.

I had that in my 99 z71...never had any problems with it. It was nice to be able to flip it down when needed, then hide it when someone sat in the middle.

Cool, That's exactly what I am looking for, the waisted space is driving me crazy. Any idea's where I can get one?

Might try a junk yard first...wrecked truck with good interior might have one...otherwise order one from GM.
