Vibration in the rear when under full throttle

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the cause of vibration in the rear of my 1998 chevy c 1500. It occurs when i go from a slow start and kick the accelerator down. When the transmission down shifts into first, the rear end vibrates, but stops when it shifts into the next gear. Any Ideas!!! Thanks in advance. Matt

Sounds like a possible U-Joint. Do you hear any growling noise in first gear?

Rear transmission mount bad.

There seems to be a growling noise in the rear, but it's hard to tell over the noise of the motor.
