Reduced Air Flow From Dash Vents

I am experiencing less air coming from the dash vents than before. The reduction is very pronounced in the 2 outboard vents. The fan speed sounds like it is changing when the knob is turned, but not that much more air comes out of the vents. Even when on recirculate, there isn't as much air as there was a few months ago. The fan is very audible -- I'm thinking that maybe one of the doors in the flow system is hanging or there is some other obstruction. Any ideas?

Check the air filters first (on the passenger side in the big black box thingy by the floorboard) if you haven't checked it. If you have, check and see if there is air flow when you turn it onto the floors or defrost.
